Croydon Community School is located close to public transport with the 670 Ringwood – Lilydale via Croydon & Chirnside Park and 671 Croydon – Chirnside Park via Warrien Road & Patrick Street bus stopping directly outside the school’s Croydon Road entrance. Croydon Railway Station is a 13-minute (900 metre) walk away. Additional bus connections are available at Croydon Railway Station.

Students that reside 4.8km or more by the shortest practicable route from the school may be eligible to apply for a conveyance allowance to assist with transport costs. The conveyance allowance is available to families who meet a certain criteria.
Students can purchase a Student Identification Card from the school that is approved by Public Transport Victoria (PTV). This means that students no longer need to arrange, pay for and carry the dedicated PTV School Student ID to travel on student passes or concession fares.
